The mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth is "To Equip the Saints for the Work of Ministry."

We are a traditional, orthodox diocese of the Anglican Communion, committed to the mission of Jesus Christ, here and abroad. Both anglo-catholic and evangelical expressions of the faith are celebrated in the 55 congregations of the diocese. Upholding the authority of the Holy Scriptures, maintaining theological orthodoxy, and practicing evangelism are important priorities in our common life and ministry.

St. Luke's is a Proud Sponsor of a Northern Malawi Centurion

The Northern Malawi Centurion Program of the Wold Mission Committee is participated in by the Diocese of Fort Worth. According to Bishop Christopher Boyle, "what we have together is so much more than the fellowship of everyday life. We have Christian fellowship, by which we share, support, and pray for one another in Christ. We are together in Christian solidarity and service. This greater fellowship is such that in Malawi my brothers, sisters, and I truly know that we are not alone in our service of the Lord, by sharing in Christian fellowship with you who also share in the service of the Lord here." If you would like more information you can contact Bishop Boyle through email at angdeoofnmw@sdnp.org.mw or by writing P O Box 120, Mzuzu, Malawi, South Central Africa or by contacting Peggy Bruce, 1121 Gabriel Lane, Fort Worth TX 76116; 817-738-2528; walterpeg@aol.com. You, too, can make a difference.

"God is not solitude, but perfect communion. For this reason the human person, the image of God, realizes himself or herself in love, which is a sincere gift of self." BENEDICT XVI, ANGELUS, Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, Sunday, 22 May 2005
